During the month of October, Coventry Credit
Union will have materials displayed in all Branches to bring awareness of domestic violence and the services
available to victims through the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center and their supporting Centers located
throughout the State. Coventry Credit Union will be collecting used cell phones for use by
domestic violence victims, as well as wearing purple ribbons on Friday, October 23 and Friday,
October 30 to show our support of this important cause. If you or someone you know has some
old cell phones, please bring them to any Branch location or the Operations Center.

The MoneyPass network is all about convenience. Well, it just got a
little more convenient for your cardholders to find surcharge-free
ATMs while they are out and about. The new MoneyPass® ATM Locator
app for the Apple iPhone can be used anywhere to find the nearest
MoneyPass ATM.
Just visit the iPhone App Store and download the free MoneyPass® ATM Locator.
The app provides the same user friendly search capabilities as the online locator.
The app is easy to use and cardholders can even locate ATMs from their exact
current location. ATM information can be sent to an email address and
directions to the ATM can be mapped.
The MoneyPass® ATM Locator app is just another example
of the way MoneyPass® is growing and improving to make the
network better for financial institutions and cardholders.
  Coventry Credit Union and the Small
Business Administration recently helped to celebrate the grand opening of the
Massage Envy clinic located at 1000 Chapel View in Cranston, RI.
Massage Envy’s Cranston location is the first in Rhode Island.
The new clinic location features 12 professional therapists on staff
working in a high-end spa setting with a Tranquility Room and state-of-the-art

The Helping Families Save Their
Homes Act of 2009, signed into law May 20, 2009, includes a provision extending
$250,000 share insurance coverage provided by the National Credit Union Share
Insurance Fund through December 31, 2013. Previously, this level of coverage
was set to expire December 31, 2009. The new law also requires NCUA to use
the higher $250,000 standard maximum share insurance amount when making
decisions about premiums and administering insurance deposit adjustments.
NCUA will shortly update its guidance about share insurance coverage to
address the provisions of the new law.
The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency
that regulates charters and supervises federal credit unions. NCUA, with the backing of the
full faith and credit of the U.S. government, also operates and manages the National
Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of nearly 90 million account
holders in all federal credit unions and the majority of state-chartered credit unions.
